Our 14th Year of Innovation and Service

Sterling Packaging Systems was founded in 1992 and was dedicated to the purpose of developing an industry specific strapping machine equipment program for Polychem Corporation. The focus was on the most demanding market for strapping equipment, newspapers, and Sterling quickly secured a leadership position. In just a few years, Sterling's time tested newspaper machines were found in many of our nation's largest daily publications as well as around the world.

In 1999 Sterling moved home to its parent companies headquarters in Mentor, Ohio (Worlds Largest Strap Plant Under One Roof) and branched out to provide strapping machines and equipment for industries in addition to newspapers such as cut-size paper, plastic totes and commercial printing.

Sterling Packaging Systems is a corner stone of Polychem Corporations equipment group. Together we supply the highest quality of strap and strapping equipment for virtually every industry including Corrugated, Graphic Arts, Can & Bottle, Lumber, Brick, Pipe and Textile.
